I have been researching for the past 30 years and have taken over as family historian for my immediate family, plus some related families. The following are included: Ruck from Alsace, Schlindwein's from Hudson co. NJ, Conklin's of Paterson,NJ, La Placa's of Passaic co. NJ, Hopper/Nichols of Passaic co. NJ,Kelman's of Passaic co. NJ, and Neuhaus's of Newark,NJ. I have some lines traced back to the early 1600's and a few before that. I am constantly doing research to try and get more information concerning any of the above families and also their allied families. Family names associated with my research. Conklin line: Ackerman,Bartholff/Bertholf,Bellier,Congleton,Conklin,Cool,Cronk,Decker,Denyse,Hennion,Ingles,Jurianse,Mandeville,Praa,Provost, Rapalje, Ryersen, Straetmaker,Storm,Tallman,Titus,Van der Beek, Van Gelder,Van der Linde. Hopper/Nichols line: Decker,Hopper,Nichols (also includes some lines in common with Conklin's)
