My great grandfather was Leonard Edward Byrd born and raised in Bristol, Ga. He married Martha Cleo Carter also from the Bristol Ga. area. They had my Grandmother (Ada Lee Byrd), a son Willie Elmer Byrd and another daughter Clara Mae Byrd (Quinn). My grandmother-(Ada Lee Byrd) married my grandfather-(Henry Roy Crews) born in Wayne County Ga, but resided many years in Bristol/Mershon Ga. area. They had several kids including my father-(Henry Felton Crews aka Billy) and my aunt who adopted me, and her name was (Dorthie Cleo Crews "Nunez"). All I know is my fathers Uncle (Bill)Willie Byrd raised him and my aunt from about 10 on and off after my grandmother passed away. Uncle Bill resided in Waycross (Ware County) Ga and retired from the Railroad before he too passed away. My father and my aunt both are also passed on now and left me with many empty places in my life about where i come from and do i have any family left>? Thank you and God Bless
