I have been working on the "Freeman Family History" since 1992. I started out writing by hand on ruled lined paper when I found a box of old pictures left when my mother died and some of them had writing on the back with names and dates and maternal and paternal information.
I thought how great to start with this great ancestry information and I started asking questions and getting more information but also realizing stumbling blocks and missing links and information. I knew that I had to get a computer and a software program to start tracking all the information. Little did I know how extensive the information would be. I also had to know that my information was correct and substantiate it. It has been a lot of work but a labor of love and everyone is so proud of me and awed at what I have accomplished. Thank you Family Tree Maker for making this possible and so professional and so easy.
