Crisoforo Ruiz, Sr. married Erlinda who died of Tubercolosis, he and Erlinda had 4 sons and 1 daughter, Manuel C. Ruiz, Sr., Rene Rolando Ruiz, Ruben Ruiz, Sr., Crisoforo Ruiz, Jr. and Inez Ruiz Herrera. This family lived in Hebronville and after the death of Erlinda, Manuel C. Ruiz, Sr. married Adela Cedillo on March 4, 1950. Crisoforo Ruiz, Sr. then remarried Manuela. Manuel and Adela resided in Robstown, Texas. They started their family and had 4 daughters and 1 son: Rebecca Ruiz Barrera, Estella Ruiz Alvarez, Manuel Ruiz, Jr., and Erlinda Ruiz Lopez. Rene married Esperanza and they had 2 daughters; Esmeralda Ruiz Suarez, and Esther Ruiz De Los Santos. Ruben Ruiz married Paula Vela they had 3 sons and 1 daughter. Ruben Ruiz, Jr., Rolando Ruiz, Rosie Ruiz, and Reynaldo Ruiz. Ruben later divorced Paula and remarried to Francis. Crisoforo Ruiz, Jr. married Emma, they had 3sons and 1 daughter. Cris's children were all burned in a tragic fire with the exception of his older son Paul Ruiz. Inez married Hilario Herrera, Sr. they now reside in San Ygancio, Texas. Inez and Hilario had Hilario Herrera, Sr. Gilbert Herrera, Samuel Herrera, Blanca Estella Herrera Zepeda, San Juana Herrera, and Sylvia Herrera.
