I have been researching my geneology for about 6 weeks. By the time I came into this world; my paternal grandmother was my only living grandparent and my parents didn't talk much about their families. My parents are both deceased now and I regret not asking them more questions as it has been tough researching with very little to go on. I found a few documents in my mothers files and decided to give it a try and see what I could find out. I have learned quite alot already and feel very much connected to each of them as I learn of their lives, loves and hardships. I've hit a "brick wall" as my next generation of ancestors all immigrated during the late 1800's from Poland, Sweden, Germany and England and I don't have any of the specifics; ie.. parishes, townships, etc. If anyone reads this that has already been through this difficult stage and has some much needed advice; I would greatly appreciate it.
