The majority of my information on the Bergdolt/Urley side of the family to 900 A.D. was obtained over 20 years ago from my Uncle Norman Ulrey . My cousin Roselyn Sterling has reported to me that she has verified all his work. The work I have done-- with the help of Genealogy.com-- seems to bear out the veracity of his work and has helped me expand horizontially upon his work to construct a more complete family tree.
The Russell branch of the tree is based upon a 1920 genealogical report developed by ancestors two genrations removed from Rev. Joseph Russell who imigrated to this country in 1799 from Ireland. My research has expanded this tree both horizontially and vertically. In much of my research, especially my early research, I failed to use footnotes to indicate the vailidation my information--- I shall probably leave that task to future researchers.
