My grand mother .sophia Isabel.her father was a Hooper her mother was a Wilson..she married Emerald Littleton Rickerson.Grand mother said we were distant cousins to woodrow wilson..Have tried to find out if he had brothers ..or his Dad had brothes ..I know her relatives came from scotland and I believe the Rickersons came from Ireland via England.Rickersons name may have been changed from rickiten or rickiton.I believe my grandmother also was a relative of the Hooper that signed the Declaration of independence..She said no one knows what happened because he feared for his life after the signing.He left the carolinas and was lost to family.The first address I have for grandmother was in the sout carolina's and my grandfather was from Atlanta georga when they met They moved to Texas(north) soon after their wedding.
