I have been researching the Polley-Tolar lines for 56yrs and I at a brick wall for my gr-gr-grandfather, David Tolar b. NC m. Ann Reddin b. SC. My grandfather is Matthias Houston Tolar m. Rebecca Lorain Corhran, my grandfather is Arthur Runnels Tolar m. #1 Murdice Johnson, #2 my grandmother, America Parazadie Graves, my mother, Johnie Tolar, myself (legal name, Tommie Imogene Polley, I changed it because I got tired of being referred to as a man)(with my mother's name Johnie, my sisters name Frankie and my name Tommie, I had a lot to put up with)Lynne Russell.
My Polley is Real/Israel Polley b. 1802 TN m. Rebecca Votaw b. 1802 VA, they had 8 children in KY. I know found out that his parents are Joseph Polley & Caty Cain VA. Rebecca Votaw's family goes back to 1622 in France.
