Robert W. RUSSELL is the only child of Rose MOLINO Russell and Robert Charles RUSSELL. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, at Margaret Hague Hospital on January 5, 1944. According to anecdotal information (his mother), he was momentarily confused with Nancy Sinatra (because he was such a beautiful baby) and the nurses held Robert up and mouthed that this was Frank Sinatra's baby. Didn't they have pink and blue in those days?
Robert W. RUSSELL married Barbara WEIGNER Russell of Paramus, New Jersey on October 28, 1967 in the Chapel at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. In attendance were best man Richard Hutch, Tim Adams (a fraternity brother of Bob's), John and Ruth Weigner (the bride's father and mother), Robert and Rose Russell (the groom's parents) and Joan Weigner (the bride's sister).
Robert and Barbara RUSSELL have three children: Robert John (b. February 20, 1970), Matthew David (b. May 8, 1980) and Daniel Christopher (August 27, 1984).
