About Our Family Research
Much of my research has been in chronicaling the "de la Campa" family, my mother's family, in Cuba and Spain. They came to Cuba in the 1880s.
I have some information about my father's ancestors; Ruth McSwiney, Sanders, Wilson, and Mendenhall families, mostly from the Delaware wedge. I also have information about my father's mother's family, the Stirlith (Hardouin)family, but am hampered in much further research by the fact that the family is from France and that her grandfather changed the family name as he had jumped ship, prbably from a French merchant vessal. The family came to the U.S. from Port Elizabeth, South Africa about 1865.
I would gladly exchange what information I have in order to learn more about any of these families.
