I am the Great Granddaughter of Pearl E. Thompson Who was born April 6, 1909 In Mercer County, West Virginia. Pearls Parents were Hiram Watson Thompson and Mary Myrtle Farmer. Pearl Married Leo Douglas not to much is known of him. Together they had 2 Children one being my Grandmother Janet Ruth Douglas, Later Marring Roy R. Powers and Becoming Janet Ruth Powers and Harold Douglas. Janet Had Three Children One being my mother Ruth Ann, My Uncle Frank William Dustin and The Last Being My Aunt Ginger Lee Powers. Pearl at some point in her life divorced Leo and moved to Chicago Il. And that's where she passed away On June 19, 1982. She was laid to rest at Montrose Cemetery-Crematorium 5400 N Pulaski Rd Chicago, IL 60630-1706 (773) 478-5400 Some people Are Getting The Pearl Thompson From Mixed Up with The Pearl Thompson Of the Daughter Hiram and Mary Myrtle Thompson But I can Assure you that I Did spend Many of nights with my Grannie and I no for a fact that the Pearl That I have on my family tree is the correct Pearl. The Pearl that is from Cabell County, West Virginia does not have the same Parents As The Pearl On my site
