This page is to invite any "Ruwhiu" Descents from New Zealand to contact me and introduce themselves.
The name orginated from the Far North of the North Island 'Ngapuhi' and was then spread down to the East Coast of the North Island to Hohera..near Gisborne.
I am also looking for the name "Taihapa", who was the maiden name of my great grandmother.
We are are strong family who has after all the years drifted apart and lost contact.
I am always in welcome of meeting my relations and I hope that when you discover this page on the net..You would have been guided here by the name "Ruwhiu"
