I do not have much information on my father's family the best I have is that his parents were Lawrence & Brigette Ryan of Dannemora NY one or both of their family's were from County Cork Ireland. I very much want to contact any decendants from Ireland.
I am very proud to be Irish and would very much like to learn more about my fathers history.
Anyone with any information at all please contact me. I also have a bit of information that may or maynot be correct on either my grandfather or nanna being from a former small irish community in a once named town of Alder Bend near Saranac Lake.
My nanna was a Hogan I beleive but I am not sure. I did @ one time have photo's from this irish communty, a town picinic w/my grandfather and his father w/the town pastor. I know this is not much to go on but I need to find my family. My father unexpectly passed away @ the young age of 56 on 12/12/1993. Before this death he told me stories of his father's family being from Ireland and that his aunt or cousin Margaret Hogan was doing a family tree. I am not sure again if this was my nanna's maiden name or on my grandfathers side. HELP HELP HELP
