About Our Family Research

Jonathan Ryner served during the American Civil War, he was a Private(?) in Company B, of the Pennsylvania Riflemen known as the "Bucktails". He is my Great, Great Grandfather. As of the 1880 census, he moved Westward and settled in Clinton County, Iowa, and became a farmer. He married a lady named Philina, whose last name as yet eludes me. They bore four sons and a daughter, Armenas, Spencer, E.Delbert, James and Lorena. I am descended from E.Delbert, and from him, my Grandfather Delbert, and thence my father Dale A. Ryner. Up to today (May17,2003), my knowledge of my family extended to my Grandfather (whom I, unfortunately had never met), and dead-ended with him. If anyone has any pieces to put with this, please contact me, Thank you!
