RYUN; Would like to correspond with anyone with that surname.
My sister, Jacquline Marie,(aka Jackie), 1-8-1939, and I, Maria Eleana (aka Mimi), 11-28-1941, were born in Des Moines, Ia. to Eldred E. (aka Jack) Ryun, DOB. 1-10-06 and Mildred Marie Liddell, DOB. 7-28-1908 to DOD. 6-15-1993.
We all lived at 5211 Ovid Ave. in Des Moines.
They divorced around 1946 and she owned a rooming house at 400 E. 6th Ave. in Des Moines.
In 1950 we moved to Atlantic, Ia. and she owned Motel 6 on Hwy.6.
We last saw him there in 1950.
He was with a woman we think he introduced as his wife.
All we know of his parents are his father was E. E. (another Eldred E.??) and his mother was Martha as was his other daughter. We don't know her maiden name. We remember that they lived up the hill from the Riverdale or Riverside Amusement Park. One of them had a sister that we knew to be "Aunt Ida".
He was married before he married our mother and had a daughter named Martha who probably was born in the early 1930s.
He belonged to the Elks or Eagles and his father was a Mason.
In 1955 we moved to the Denver, Co. metro. area.
