Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

About Our Family Research
Families I am searching: 1. Michael and Christine Gutzke emigrated from West Prussia to Michigan (via N.Y.) in 1873. They had six living children. All lines are traced EXCEPT son Carl/Charles who died in Macomb County, Michigan in 1904.
2. August and Minnie Schafer emigrated in 1880 from West Prussia to Detroit. It is believed that they had 7 children. Oldest daughter, Augusta married Herman Gutzka in 1882. Other lines lost at this time.
3. Chamberlin line, traced back to 960 in France, through England then to U.S. (before we became a country).
4. Judson family, early settlers in Cannonsburg, Kent County, Michigan. Have genealogy done in 1932 tracing the family back to New Amsterdam and Anneke Jans Bogardus (descendent of William the Silent from Holland.
I am trying to validate the Chamberlin and Judson Genealogies and fill in additional information on all of them.
