My father's family are form north London. My mother's family are from Belfast. My husband's family are from Northern Albania. My parents live in Wales now. My fathers family are few and far between, my mothers family are a network of cousins mainly in Ireland but also in England, Wales and Canada. My mother has researched some of her side of the family and traced them to Shrewsbury and Newtown (Powys). My father has two (known)cousins, none of them have any siblings.
There have been no family reunions apart from when my mother met her cousins in Shrewsbury and Newtown.
The only research I have undertaken is asking my nan the names of all the relatives on her side of the family.
