The Sagiao family held its first annual reunion on June 16, 2000, in Kailua, HI. Brothers Failautusi, Lee, Malo, Ieti, Malu, Tusi, and Autasia attend the function, as well as sisters Clara and Aiga. The event was to bring the family together, so that we keep in touch with each other and that our children will know their cousins and the meaning of Fa'a Samoa, the Samoan Way. The next reunion has been set to commence on June 15, 2001, in Seattle, Washington. We expect that we will exceed the 51 relatives that attended the Hawaii reunion. We open our heart and our prayers to all our family relatives that they may want to attend the reunion to celebrate our FAMILY.
I would like to extend a hand to all relatives to help out with our family search. If anyone has information about our family like: documents, family bibles, and birth certificates, please feel free to contact me, so we may arrange to get copies to add to our history. Thank you.
