The search for the Sagiao genealogy is enormous. There are several family members who have been unaccounted for several reasons to include death, marriage, etc. The search to find all Sagiao family relatives have been exhaustive and burdensome. Family members are spread throughout the United States, several foreign countries, territories and other Commonwealths. Several attempts to bring the entire group together has met with little and sometimes no results.
A recent reunion provided a good insight on future expectation. The meeting among family representatives resulted in a mutual cooperation and agreement about future reunion was agreed upon. What the reunion lacked this year was the big void left by several members (children) who did not attend due to various reasons, lack of funds, job, family, and other which are not worth mentioning. The difficult part was not being able to contact all these children due to missing addresses, phone numbers, email addresse, and place of employment. The difficult part was trying to understand why the parents did not possess the information need to contact their children.
Idealy, it would be nice to find out all the information need to contact these family members so they can be kept apprised on the status of future family gathering.
