This is actually my first time with this service and I'm just learning how to use it. For a long time I have always wondered about my family roots and heritage. I have been told there are many versions of my family history out there. However I have not been able to locate the people that have gone about researching the the same thing I am.
My search began out of a longing to get to know my REAL family since I have been in a foster home for most of my life and have lost touch with who my actual family members were. For years,I have tried,in vain, to create a family tree only to give up on it when I couldn't find the information I needed. Most of the relatives on my mother's and grandmothers side would not share certain information due to a family feud that erupted between my Granfathers side of the family and my Grandmothers side of the family. I was at a dead end.
Then a couple evening ago I saw this commercial for Geneology.com and wondered if this could be the opportunity I need to finally be able to put my family tree together and see where my roots originated. This was my answer.
I am hoping that this search engine will shed some light where I couldnt see before.
