Raul Angel Sapia (son of Domingo Sapia and Isabel Martino) was born 1898 in Argentina, and died 1987 in California. He married Anna Josephine Cooper, daughter of George Cooper and Anna Maria O'Halloran.

Raul went to Europe during WWI to study languages. French thought he was a spy. He pursuaded them otherwise, worked as waiter incoutnryside until he stowed away on ship to US. When discovered, worked for his fare. NY Irish cop got him work as waiter (Ritz Carlton Hotel, march 1898, at age 20). Worked as translator of German medical books, and for Berlitz School. He was published author of tour books on Argentina and Guatemala, a Diplomat, polyglot, Gaucho, and bigamist with 2nd wife, Lillian.
