Mrs. Anastasia Saridakis, aged 64 years, of 502 Schoonmaker Avenue, died June 28th at 1:30 P.M after a lingering illness. Surviving are her husband, Komianos Saridakis, a son Gustave, of Washington, DC; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Yiasemmi Pakitsas of Monessen; five nephews, Stephen, Constantine, Mike, Samuel and Theodore Zarpas all of Washington, DC. The family will receive friends at the Rhome Funeral Home, McKee Avenue between the hours of 1-5 and 7-10 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1st at 2 P.M. from the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Ioakim Isidorides officiating. Internment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.
Note:
Anastasia & Komianos Saridakis had three children: Anthony who died during WWII, Christina who died as a child and Gustave/Gus Saridakis who lives in Maryland.
