Family of Martha Lee Sasser Roney Naimoli Updated February 16, 2003
About Our Family Research
My interest in my family history began as a child. My mother, Mary Dyar Eidson Sasser, often told family stories and legends, especially of the Cival War, to me. My aunt, Pearl Sasser Grooms, shared a written family history of the Paternal side of my family with me when I was a young adult. My aunt, Dollie Pearl Dyar Barker, recently recorded a short family memoir which corroborated many of my mother's stories. Aunt Dollie's memories rekindled my interest in my family history. I started searching the Internet and was amazed at the wealth of information at my fingertips. I have been able through Geneology.com and similar sites to positively trace my family back to 1500 in Dorset, England and possibly back to 1487.
