James Donovan Born London England June 29, 1867 (year of birth may be of by a year or two, But according to his age stated on the 1930 wisconsin cenus 1867 should be right)
James' parents were... Father: Patrick Donovan Born in London England (at least according to what James stated on the 1930 census) now i have not been able to verify that. and his mother: Ellen (some say might be Helen) Downey Born in the Irish Free States (according to what James stated on the 1930 census)
James immagrated to the US in 1884 (again acording to his statement on the 1930 census)
He married Annebelle Clark (born June 11, 1872 in Board man wisc. to Elijah Clark and Polly Miranda Roberts (could be Robarts)
Annebell and James had a total of 10 children.
1) Ella(which i believe to be actualy Ellen)Born and buried in New Richmond Wisconsin (Died in infancy)
2)Anna E Born 1893 In New richmond, WI married Eugene Stroberger (that could be a mis-spelling) Died in Mpls, MN in 1954
3)Joseph James Born 1898 in Minneapolis, MN Married Edna Regina Christianson in 1917, Died in Mpls, mn in 1986 is buried in Fort Snelling cemetery.
4)D' Edmund H. (thats what the paper i have says is his name...probably just used Edmund...I have no clue what the D stands for) Born 1900 in Mpls, MN, Married Bertha, Died in 1930, Buried in Spooner, WI
5) John S. Born 1902 in Mpls, MN, Never Married, Died in 1925, Burried in Spooner, WI
6)Mildred V (we called her aunt Billy...i don't know why though..i was young when she died) Born 1904 in Mpls, MN, Married twice 1st to George Hecker and 2nd to Richard May.
According to the 1930 Census her son George Hecker (not sure if he was an actual jr or not) was living with James and Annebelle.
She died in 1984 in Mpls, MN and buried in Crystal Lake cemetery
7)Lucille (Birth record says Mary Lucille) Born 1906 in Mpls, MN, Married Ted Birch. Died 1987, burried in Hibbing, MN
8)Leo Bernard Donovan (My Grandfather) Born 1908, Married Goldie Magnolia Roberts (born 1916, died 1992 burried next to Leo)They have 8 children. Leo Died in Mpls MN in 1991 and is buried in Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center MN.
Children of Leo and Goldie are:
**Gerald "Jerry" He passed away in Mpls MN in Jan of 1999, Although he carried the Donovan name he was actualy Goldie's son from a previouse relationship. I am paticularly intrested in finding any info on who Jerry's father was and if my grama was married to this person.

Myrtles parents where John and Rose Bishop.

Beatrice (at least one of her marrried names was FRANE not sure if she was married more than that)

I also know that at some point 2 of the youngest children (might have been 3) Richard and John were in an orphanage in MN.
I also know that at some point they returned home to thier parents.
