About Our Family Research


The Sayre-Hillis Family of Ohio and West Virginia is the ongoing research into the ancestors of Leroy Allen Sayre and Joyce Marie Hillis, who were united in marriage in 1954. The Sayre Family history includes the families of Berkley (Berkeley), Bland and Childers. The Hillis Family history includes the families of Kirkwood, Billiard and Dawson.

Various sources have been used to generate the data in this work. Some comes from internet sites such as Ancestry.com, Geneaology.com Rootsweb.com and others. Some of it comes from personal contact with relatives over the past 20 years.
