The Baxendales are from Bury in Lancashire, my earliest Baxendale is William b1808 in bury. Some time after the birth of his son Thomas, who was born in 1835, they moved to Leeds. I have yet to look up the parish Records for Johns Birth certificate so have no idea who his mother was. I cant find William on the 1861 Census for Yorkshire as i dont have an address. I got his name from Johns Wedding Certificate.
The Beales originate in Norfolk, Lots of rellies there and all of them had large families, by todays standards anyway. The earliest Beales i have is Samuel Beales born in Banham Norfolk in 1808. The family there were all Agricultural Workers. Samuel's Grandson, Charles got a servant pregnant and moved to leeds where my Grandmother was born in 1900. She married Harry Baxendale after her first husband was killed in WW1.
The Tites are also from Norfolk, my earliest Tite is William born in 1809 in Forncett. He was a Hand Loom Weaver (Bombazine) besides working as Agricultural Laborer. Williams Grandaughter was Agnes Tite.
I have yet to find out who William Baxendale's wife was.
Other names in my tree are: Baxter, Cobb, Garforth, Lister,Roberts and Stebbings.
I now live in Halifax, W Yorkshire but was born and brought up in leeds. My Grandmother loved talking about her family and who was who and as a smill child i can remember sitting listening to her for hours and enjoying it greatly.
If any of my family look familiar to you please contact me.
