Notes for Ida Florence DeWitte: Ida "Frances" Vanderloos and her husband lived in Red Lodge until 1937, when they moved to a farm in the Bridger area. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish and Altar Society in Bridger. Mrs. Vanderloos, 88, of Bridger, died Friday, Sept 12 in the Western Manor Nursing Home in Billings, where she had lived for four years. She was born in Rock Island, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Romia DeWitte. She married Pete J. Vanderloos in Red Lodge; he died Sept. 26, 1957. Survivors include a son, Henry of Bridger; two daughters, Elizabeth Jakkola of Red Lodge and Louise Kero of Anaconda; a brother, John DeWitte, of Red Lodge; 15 Grandchildren and 20 great-Grandchildren. Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bridger. Mass was celebrated at 9:30 am Tuesday, Sept. 16, in the church with burial in the Bridger Cemetery. Dahl Funeral Chapel of Billings was in charge.
