I am new at this, having started only three months ago. At this time I'm trying to finish research on my father's line and my mother'line. I have both lines traced back to the early 1700's and 1600's, thanks to Tracy Morris and others. My mothers' maiden name is Hazel Mae Stinchfield, born Oct. 30, 1900. She died Sept.9,1973. She was born in Iowa and died in Calif. Her father wa Jack Stinchfield; her mothers' name was Mary Lucy Reader. Both families came from England and/or Scotland, but their roots go back central Europe. My fathers' line (according to family lore) has been traced to Netherlands >France >Poland and East Prussia. In the USA, settled in the New England area down to N. Carolina. I was born in Welcome, Minn. in 1927. That's the gist of it, but not the end, I hope. I'd appreciate any information from anyone who is related or has information regarding both families or link to.
