Marlene Alexander Scott, age 82, of Brunswick and formerly of Richmond Hill, GA, died March 30, 2004 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. A native of Tattnall County, Mrs. Scott made her home in Richmond Hill for forty-eight years before moving to Brunswick in 2000. She was a member of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons, Phillip A. Scott, Brunswick, Sidney W. Scott, Hull, GA, John W. Scott, Jr., Chicago, IL, and Michael A. Scott, Dublin, GA; a daughter, L. Gail Scott, Atlanta; a sister, Gladys Nail, Reidsville; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services, directed by Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tattnall County, with Rev. Richard Turner officiating.
