John Martin Greiner, son of Phillip Jacob Greineer and grandson of Johann Caspar Greiner, married Mary Eischperger, daughter of Ruprecht Eischperger and Maria Reidelsperger, of Salzburger. John was a private in the Georgia Militia and fought at the battle of Etaw Springs in South Carolina. He was wounded in the leg. He had six children.
