Francis Drake 1st married unknown Swartwout, sister of Aaron Swartwout.They had the following children:

Francis Peter Drake was born ca. 1800, New York to Francis Drake 2nd and Betsey Elizabeth Seely, daughter of James Seely and unknown Galloway, and neice of Jonas Seely. They had the following children:

Francis Peter Drake and family lived in Wood County, West Virginia on the 1850 census. Francis Drake is listed in 1840 census in Green Creek Township, Sandusky, Ohio. (He is listed as T.P. Drake which was a transcription error.)Francis P.Drake married Mary Ann Carpenter, daughter of Barber Carpenter and Eleanor (Bronson) Carpenter about 1829 in New York State, most likely in Tompkins County, New York. Children of Francis and Mary Ann Drake are:

Thomas B. "Homer" Drake b. 1835 Ohio
Eleanor Drake b. 1838 Ohio
Jemima Ann Drake b. 1840 Ohio
Barber Carpenter Drake b. 1842
Seth W. Drake b.1846 Virginia.

James T. Drake and his wife, Berthena Elizabeth (Owens) Drake moved to Lafayette Co., MO in 1871. Thomas B. "Homer" Drake and his wife, Sarah (Mineard) Drake moved to Richland Co., Wisconsin following the Civil War. Seth W. Drake lived in Taylor Co., West Virginia in 1870 and Ohio Co. West Virginia by 1900. His wife and children lived in Allegheny Co., PA 1900 on. Barber Carpenter Drake was killed in the Civil War. Jemima Ann Drake married Joseph Munsey in Washington Co., Ohio mid 1860's with no further info found. No information found concerning Eleanor Drake.

William Cox b. 1776 North Carolina, son of Matthew Cox lived in Jefferson Co., Tennesse. On 1850 census lived with son James Cox and his wife, Rachel(Douglass)Cox, the daughter of John D. and Mary Douglass. Children: John Douglass Cox, William Mathew Cox, Sarah Jane Cox, Priscilla Cox, M.A. Cox, George Arthur Cox, Samuel T. Cox, Martha E.Cox, Nancy Elizabeth Cox, Caldona Cox, James Harvey Cox. Rachel Cox moved to Anthony, Harper Co., Kansas in the late 1890's along with her children, Nancy, Priscilla, George, Samuel, and James.
