My family search began about 15 years ago as a result of looking for a personal Family Bible which was sheilded by all and contained very little family information. One of my sons insisted that I should be the one to gather our family history. And so I did, with his help to start and my husbands help in cemetaries and Public Liraries. We got into it heavy and loved it. And I am still going at it. I actually started at the Arkansas Historical Library. WE found the NJ Sculls in a Pensylvania history book. My Davis family was almost easy because most of it was in church records in New Jersey. My husbands family had a real stopper in the early history. Two children in the 1800's were orphaned and left to board with family. This one still is a challange. I research history books, marriage and death records, other family trees, and the Social Security Death records. Also have had some help in the Civil War history. Some help with family members and some hands-on at Cemetaries. This is next to Scapbooking for my favorite pass time.
