My Grandpa, Edwin Ruthledge Fraser, was born in Nova Scotia and moved with his family to Ardmore Indian Territory which later became OKLAHOMA. He was a grand old man, blue eyed, witty, well travelled, secretary to Tex Guinan in New York, the nightclub owner and playgirl and then secretary to some wealthy explorer who took him off to CHINA for years on end. In those days, men were secretaries. He met my grandmother Elena Refugio Childs in the boarding house she and her mother and aunts ran in San Luis Obispo, California. My mother was born in 1912, Helen Grace Fraser. I was born in 1941, daughter of Albert Sendrey. I am looiking for other Frasers who may be out there in Oklahoma or, have moved elsewhere. Grandpa said that in his own childhood, a photograph of SARAH DICKENS was on the wall, and that she had been his grandmother and was niece to Charles Dickens being Charles brother's daughter. Anyone out there with that geneaology?
