Genealogy of ANNICE M HODGES with Decendants & Ancestors

Updated August 14, 2005

About Our Family Research

The Research of the GENEALOGY OF ANNICE M HODGES WITH DECENDANTS AND ANCESTORS started when Annice was a child listening to her grandmother HATTIE MAY NORTON HODGES tell her stories about her ancestors. But she didn't think to write the stories down. Being so young she thought her grandmother would be around always to help her remember.
It wasn't until she joined the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS that she learned how and where to find some of the information she needed. There wasn't anyone she could ask in the family to get any information. They didn't know anything about their genealogy.
So, she went to the Genealogy Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was able to find some information about her family. The she went to the Allen County Genealogy Library in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and was able to find more information.
She got on the internet and was able to find more information thru E-bay,; Ancestry.com; Genealogy.com;
Thru the Ancestry.com Message Board Annice was able to get in touch with a distant cousin ROBERT JOHN HODGES, SR. from Fork River,New Jersey (GENEALOGYBOB@COMCAST.NET) who was able to give her a lot of information on the HODGES GENEALOGY. He is the author of the ARCHER-HODGES NEWSLETTER. He prints the newsletter twice a year. In August and December, $4.75 per issue. The newsletter is a great help to keep all the relatives informed about the rest of the family. Robert goes to the HODGES REUNIONS in Michigan each year to keep in contact with the HODGES Relation.
Annice will continue to search any and all ways to find out any information about the HODGES ANCESTORS.
