Research has led me to discover that the family moved to OK from KS during the Land Run of 1889. John & wife Charlotte "Lottie" as she was called had 11 children but not all were living when they moved to OK. I can name 9 of the children and 3 names are still missing. I have date of death for all but birth dates and locations are not known for most. Most of the children were born in TN, 1 in KS. The names of the children I know are John, Benjamin, James , Joseph, Marie, Julia, Lim, and Eva Emma. The last child a girl named Della Isabella was born in OK in l893. John & Charlotte homestead 360 acres. The first 160 acres was acquired in the Oklahoma Land Run of April, 1889. Part of the farm was divided off and donated back to the city of Jones, OK for a cemetery named Lillard Cemetery but the year it was done is still unknown at this time. Since that time, it has been renamed Lillard-Woodard Cemetery. The youngest child was my grandmother. She married 3 times and had 5 children. Two are still living, my mother and Uncle Johnny. He will be 90 yo 07/04/2001 and mother will be 84 yo 06/27/01. Since this was originally started, my uncle passed away on 09/13/02, His son, Sonny (John Jr) passed away ??/??/??, and mama passed 10/10/07.
