The family was ancored by Molatelo Frans Seshibe who died at 102 in 1996. He had two wives. First he was married to Puledi Mphasha with whom he had six children. He was widowed when Puledi had her last born MmaMolatelo. Then he married into the Molokomme family where he had ten more children (not sure of the exact number).

Fifteen years after Molatelo's passing the family is still getting strong. The family meets once a quarter for a 'lokgotla' which is a reunion. There has been many celebrations encompassing among others, weddings, graduations, unveilings, etc.
