My family research started in 1980 when there was no internet. I wrote letters, seached libraries, called on living relatives to gather my initial information.
The process then was long, costly, and most of all hard. Since the internet has come into the picture searching is so much more fun and a lot easier.
My father was the 10th child to be born to John Everding and I am his youngest child. Therefore most of my father's family I never knew. It is hard when your relatives are strangers.
