Most of my information gas been given to me by family members and personal knowledge of family members. The most enjoyment came from talking to distant cousins about their personal knowledge of the people involved in the family history. I for instance knew my great grandmother Sansom as did two cousins who also knew her even better than I did. Comparing "notes" was not only informative but brought us closer together. There are frustrations as well as joys in the search with "dead ends" to make things interresting.
