Since 1993, through the use of the internet, speaking with family members and various trips to historian offices, the following information has been found. Alot of foot work was involved in researching the Markell/Morey side on the part of myself, my sisters Grace and Jerri. My father Henry Russell Shipp has been so very helpful in coming up with names and places for all sides, as well as "trucking" me and my sisters around from New York to Mississippi to see town squares, cemeteries, churches, schools and the wedding chapel where he and my mother were married. My Aunt Kathryn was so kind to share with me old pictures that she had.
I hope that my Aunts/Uncles and cousins will be helpful in completing information I don't have for their individual families. Thank you and enjoy!
