The intent of this site is to document the family of Thomas Franklin Sevy, born 28 August 1889 in Panguitch Utah.
I became interested in genealogy about 30 years ago. I filled out the pedigree charts and family group sheets and typed up all this information using an old Underwood typewriter. Much of the information I obtained came from my mom. I think I understood the importance of the work but for the most part they were just names. As I have learned about who these people were, the trials they went through, what they did during their lifetimes, the names have taken on human qualities.
I have thoroughly enjoyed finding histories about some of these people and countless others – some are my ancestors, some just had connections to my ancestors and some were just strangers, but I have found myself being drawn to them. I have been grateful to those who have used this medium of the Internet to share these stories and would like to share some of this information now starting with my grandfather, Thomas Franklin Sevy known as Frank to his friends.
