Jane Berry (daughter of Ralph Berry and Ann) was born Abt. 22 September 1816 in Manchester. She married (1) John Seymour. She married (2) Henry Taylor on 10 July 1864 in Lymm Parish Church.
Notes for Jane Berry: Hi Tony, Just found a print out that I thought I had thrown away by mistake from the Cheshire Parish Register Database. (no longer operational). It's for the marriage of Jane Seymour to Henry Taylor. I think we know all the details except it gave the father as Ralph Bury.
On the familysearch website - IGI individual records I checked all the births for Jane Berry 1810 -1820. I have found Jane Berry born 22 Sept. 1816 Manchester Lancashire. Her father was Ralph Berry 'born about 1784 Manchester' and her mother 'Mrs Ann Berry 'born about 1788 Manchester'. Jane must be James' mother, don't you agree? Wonder why she travelled to London? Or did John Seymour and son travel North and then John married Jane? Ignore me I'm rambling!
I've been trying to unscramble my mother's family starting with the 1901census - talk about 'tangled webs' . I'm beginning to wonder who I am and who is buried at Peel. The Seymours seem an uncomplicated diversion for me.
Hope your new year is going well. Best wishes, Pat Walker (ne Seymour) 20 Jan 2003
