I think knowing where you come from, your personal history, is important. Granted it's impossible to stay in touch with everyone in your family, let alone know who your unknown family members are, I thought this whole internet revolution is a great way to find out more about our family, the Shluker family. How far back do we have information? Can we find out? Let's get what we can and at least continue on from today. At the moment my wife, Amy, and I have three sons, Ethan, Jordan and Ryan, that I would like to have the opportunity to share with their kids what I wish I had more of...knowledge of my ancestry and relatives, whether or not I keep in contact with them on a regular basis. Wouldn't it be interesting to know you have relatives living somewhere else in the world or 20 miles away that you never knew existed? And being a SHLUKER is a rare, rare thing. My Father is of the New York Shlukers and Harrisburg Katzmans. Shluker's Bakery anyone? My mother is of the New York Meiners and Kushners. So, come on in and check out some of the other branches on the Shluker tree.
