The love of family research was started by my Father, Richard Virgil Welch. It was his desire to learn all he could about the family of John Welch and Bridget Burke Hennessey who were both from Ireland. They are the top of his tree today. John Welch was Richard's Great Grandfather. This family primarily lived in Iowa and South Dakota with a few schattered to Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin. They were a family of farmers with many children. They were also a large Catholic family. Today the search continues on his behalf through the efforts of various members of this family. May our tree continue to grow!
