Henry was a sergeant and captain in the Revolutionary War, service in Berks County, PA. Henry moved to Frederick County, VA and then to Fincastle, Bototourt County, VA where he owned a lot of land and had a tavern and Inn. He married second in West Virginia in 1791 to Catherine Kerns.
