Ephriam, Jr., married Sarah Bristol, of Vermont. They owned a farm in Schoharie Co., New York, where they lived. In the fall of 1816, he took a load of produce to go to Albany for supplies for Winter. He would have to cross the Hudson River on the ice, and might have been drowned as he was not heard from after leaving home. He left six children.
