Although I don't have so much time to devote to it just yet, I do enjoy reading the forums and trying to discover one more secret about my ancestors. I have a niece who has researched several lines of our family, but I'm stuck on this one. If all I've read is true, it's a fascinating line, with several skeletons in the closet. It would have been a scandel to my parents, and they probably never would have spoken of these things if they knew them (and I wonder, how much did they know?) But, as time allows (someday it will, surely) I want thoroughly research it all, to visit the cemetaries, the towns where they lived, to imagine their stories... In Guilford, NC, in Salem, MA, perhaps all the way back to England. What a tale could be written. Indeed, parts of it have already been written in classic drama. But all of their stories, centuries of skeletons coming out of the closet, coming to life in a novel based on history... Yes, maybe some day I will do this. Until then, I will collect my history on this, yet another of my many Web sites.
