My own Parents: John Edward Simmonds from Wallasey Cheshire England and Jessie (nee Blair)from Greenock Renfrewshire, Scotland.

Parents of John Edward Simmonds are:
Joseph Simmonds and his siblings were known to be Nellie b 1881 Edward b 1882 Henry b 1885 Hannah b 1886 George b 1888 who emigrated to Chile c. 1914.
Joseph's wife was Hannah (nee Jones) and Hannah Jones siblings were Edward - Margaret and Tommy. Both families believed to be from Wallasey in Cheshire and previously from Wem in Shropshire/possibly Wales, that is not confirmed yet.
On my Mothers side:
Parents of Jessie Blair are Alexander Blair b. 18.10.1882 who emigrated to Canada to join Canadian Mounted Police 1919 circa.
Unheard of again by the family.
Alexanders parents were Hugh Blair and Elizabeth Laird Chalmers and his siblings were John b. 1878 Maggie b 1879 and Hugh b 1880 Alexanders wife was Agnes (nee Brewster from Belfast N. Ireland)she is known to have one brother Samuel who also emigrated with her.
Hugh Blair's father was John Blair b. 1820's in Inchinin married to Mary McIntyre b abt 1830 from Tayvallich Argyll. They were married at Kilmacolm and Hughs siblings were Jennet b 1854 in north Knapdale Peter 1860 John 1862 Ann 1863 Mary 1866 Margaret 1868 James 1871 Sarah 1872 all of Greenock
