The Barry Simmons Family of Agassiz, B.C., Canada

Our family is descended from the Richard Simmons Family originally from Danby End in the County of York, England. My father came to Canada with his parents and siblings in 1912 arriving in Halifax. My mother's family name is Voss. Her parents lived near Edwin, Manitoba on the Voss Family Farm. I believe her family originated in Magdenberg, Germany. They lived in Ontario for a period of time. I do not know when they came to Canada but it was probably in the early 1800's.
