Research going as far back as the parents of Alexander Davidson in England. Born in 1648. Brothers were William, Phillip and Hezekiah. Alexander moves to Scotland and there he marries Sarah McDavid. His son, William, a blacksmith, and his wife,Janet Duncan, with their children came to America on the ship "Friendship" and docked in Philadelphia in 1760. William is my line.
