I need help! My family is a mystery. My grandfather, Frank Theodore Price never spoke of his family. He is from Pulaski County Illinois. I believe he was born in Mound City but grew up in Cairo. We think he had a brother but he never mentioned his name. His parents passed away and he was raised by his grandmother. Again, never told us her name. I think his father was James Price and his mother Ineza Stratton but I am not sure of this. My grandfather was born 12/06/1890 and he passed away in 1986. My grandmother grew up in Fort Gay, West Virginia. Her name is Charlotte Imogene Wheeler. My grandmother was born 4/11/1904 and passed away 4/17/1978. Her father was Jay Wheeler. He was born in Wayne Co. W. Va 11/18/1874 and passed away 12/26/1959 in Louisa, Ky. Her mother was Jennie Ratliff. We know nothing about the Ratliff side but are excited to learn. Her mother died while giving birth to my grandmother. Jennie was from the Fort Gay, W. Va area. She had a relative named Willie Ratliff but we are unsure of how he was related to her. Any help is greatly appreciated.
